The Latest 45A Motor Connector Design From Higo

The rise of the heavy/high speed E-bikes and E-MTBs has driven up the requirements for electronic motor components substantially. Therefore, the need for increased power connectors definitely tops the list of today's requests from E-bike manufacturers. Generally, increased power means larger connectors and thicker cables. However, as space clearly is limited within E-bike motors, this is often not an option for engineers. 
With the new L315 motor connector, Higo introduces a 3 pole, 45 A power connector with a diameter of only15mm. By separating power from signal contacts, it also offers a smart solution to prevent interference between both at peak times of the motor.
When your e-bike motor still requires extra signal contacts, you have several options at hand. You either go for a combination with Higo’s 2 to 6 pole mini C connector or you decide to choose the larger 45A motor connector design: the Higo L1019 10-pole connector.
